Happy New Year! We made it to 2021. "It's a new year, new me!" Each and every year we find ourselves or others around us using this cliché. Let us take a moment and be honest, we know that it is a new year, but are we really new too? Surely, we have plans of changing but, we still come into the new year with the exact same mind state from the previous year. Then, we wonder why the same thing or worse follows us into a new year. So let us start this year off with renewing our minds so that it isn't a repeat of 2020. I always stress the importance of renewing your mind because your "REALITY" isn't what you see with your physical eyes. It starts internally, your thoughts, what you think and what you speak becomes your reality. It's day 1 of 365 we have to be mindful of the things we put out into the universe, our words have power. With that said I am giving you a challenge for 2021, I challenge you to 365 of renewing your mind. Come 12/31/2021 I want you to report to this blog post and tell me about your amazing journey of manifesting your reality for this year! I refuse to allow those who love and support me continue the same stagnant cycles. It's been long enough and change will happen this year, starting now! In 2021, we will stand on everything we say, starting with "New Year, New Me", if you don't know where or how to begin creating your desired reality, at the end of this blog I will give you a few affirmations to begin with and if you need me on any part of your journey this year, you know how to find me! I am always willing to help.
As promised, I am going to address my past absence and we're going to transition back into the present, because that's really what's important right? First, let me apologize to those who await the blog postings and or the podcast. Just to be transparent, I really was going to just end all of it. I felt like it was purposeless for me to do it. I needed more time to get it right, these projects that is. I devalued myself, I felt that no one really needed to hear what I had to say or that what difference could I make. so I stopped. Additionally, I had more growing to do on my spiritual journey. I knew that I was purposed to do something, I just needed confirmation that I was actually doing the right thing, I wanted to make sure that this was my vision and I wasn't doing it just because someone else was doing it. Even though I've never been a copy cat, I've always done my own thing and it's usually something unpopular that no one was doing. Yet, I still felt like I needed validation that this is what I was purposed for, ya know?
After a million signs, from God, The Universe, and my Ancestors. I finally caved in and accepted my calling. I am the Loud Mouf Healer, I was put here to use my words and heal my people. I've been doing this all my life, so I don't know where the uncertainty and doubts came from. Okay, I'm lying I do know where it came from, it came from me feeling inadequate, I am struggling with the Impostor Syndrome. Anyway, I have come to terms with accepting myself, my purpose, and my gift, I am now here to stay. My biggest thing this year is to remain consistent and I will remain consistent.
Additionally, when I popped out I wanted to be more knowledgeable about my crafts. When I started podcasting I was just doing shit, I had the right intentions, I didn't know the things I now know. I wanted to come back with my shit together, I'm just not the type to do half ass shit. Nevertheless, I am home y'all. 2020, was pretty damn good to me. That's my spill on my absence, now back to 2021.

So listen I have thoroughly enjoyed you, thank you for sticking by me and taking this journey with me. With out me being purposed for people like you there simply wouldn't be The Unpopular Realist nor Day to Day with Brushae. You are necessary and I see an amazing year for you I can't wait to see you all continue your journey of healing, growing, and glowing! It's 2021, let's begin dominating our lanes!
